11-2007 Rosewalk retirement in Lafayette, Indiana
Paul Parker and his wife Rhonda really helped us alot, by putting together some new items and moving heavy furniture. THANKS!
Lunch at the park.
What was even better....Paul found a hugh sand pit...with working scoop cranes!!!!
WOW did he love these...I could barely get him to quit long enough to eat lunch. I finally had to tell him that real worker men, need energy to use their big machines.
"Do you think Grandpa Keith is having fun too?" Being a boy again!
Boy these scoop cranes swivel and really work the upper body and arms Mr. Paul.
Work Paul work! He could have stayed here all day.
Finally we had to go home... at least the grandkids were worn out and took really good naps before we took them home to Jason and Laura.
Evergreen Lake Yet!
Do you think Meredith is thinking: "Whew this is a long hike...how much longer, Grandpa!
WHEW!! The half way rest stop...Paul sitting in his "cave", to rest.
Meredith wanted to take her shoes off!! She liked climbing, but she doesn't quite get
that she could fall off. "Thanks Grandpa for helping hold on to me".
Brother Paul and sister Meredith sitting on a rock before moving on down the trail!

Paul and Grandma Nancy with Meredith walking down the trail around Evergreen Lake.
What are Grandpa's for? Why, helping you throw stones into the water and maybe learning how to skip stones...maybe in a few more years.
Paul love's his Grandpa Felix.
Can you tell we are back in Colorado!
10-22-2007 Indiana Sunsets WOW!!
Thanks, God for closing this Indiana chapter with such style and beauty.
10-14-2007 Felix Sr. House in Plymouth after Auction
Keith & Nancy Felix and Patty all helped sort and prepare Keith Sr. & Connie Felix's
house and contents for an auction which was held, October 22, 2007. Keith Sr. and
Connie are moving to a retirement community in Lafayette, Indiana.
We had the grounds newly landscaped and trimmed for an instant face lift and
curb appeal.
The pond and acreage look great in the fall. We will all miss the homeplace, but have lots of happy memories to keep forever...the hiking, gardening, picking apples, camping in the pine trees, boating and fishing, bonfires, and growing pumpkins.
And then there were all the deer and geese and ducks, and even old Mr. Turkey and a peacock at one time.
Keith Sr. and Connie got to take a tour of the new landscaping and the grounds from the comfort of their own car, before they left for their new location in Lafayette, Indiana. They will miss friends from Plymouth, but have all the relatives in Lafayette to visit with more closely now.
Patty who lives in Flordia, really enjoyed the lovely fall color of Indiana.
Keith, Patty, and Nancy loaded what items we saved to make Keith Sr. and Connie feel right at home in there new location. It filled a 16 foot rental truck. Keith and Nancy drove from Colorado with their new 5th wheel trailer to camp in while at the home place. ( Since we took all the beds away!!)

William and Paul the water boys. Sarah and Chris have a nice pool and graciously opened their home for Jason and Laura to stay during our Labor Day trip to Indiana.
Beachbaby...Meredith sunbathing by the pool.
Laura found a perfect fairy costume for Meredith for Halloween. Everyone got to enjoy a little time at the BlueBerry Festival, eating junk food, watching fireworks and Paul got to experience a good old midwestern parade.
Katie and Meredith...."What????Is it time for naps so soon!
Sarah Bridgwater and Laura at the Ft. Wayne zoo. Yes the mosquitos were this big and that bad.
The cousins...scary isn't it! Andy, Jason, and Matt.
Laura enjoyed visiting at Andy and Stephanie's house. All the kids got to know one another and play together.
Uncle Matt enjoying Miss Meredith. We all spent some time at Gloria and Jim Dances house in Ft. Wayne over Labor day, before we went to Plymouth, to visit with Keiths parents.
