REMEMBER CONNIE FELIX

A foggy morning on Green Mountain.

We remember Keith's mother,
your grandmother...

Connie died on February 3, 2010,
at Manor Care, while in Hospice care.

We had a small memorial service for Connie
at our local church, Concordia,
for Keith Sr. to attend.

Keith and his sister Patty, though sad, know
that Connie is home with God now,
with a new body and no pain or weakness.

We flew back to Indiana for the viewing and funeral.
Calvary Lutheran Church and VanGilder Funeral Home
did a nice service.
We will always remember and love you Connie.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

Keith and Nancy spent New Year's Eve

in Keystone.
The new year started with a beautiful
full moon, and clear mountain night skies.

WOW, you have to love Colorado winter
nights and skiing.
Nancy and Keith skiied the Out Back at Keystone
all morning, then had a nice hot lunch...

skiied the rest of the day on North Peak and Dercum's Mt.
the rest of the day. The new gondola was great, and the
skiing was perfect.

HAPPY NEW YEAR family.!!

We love you all.

Can We Go Sledding???

After all the presents, it was
time for the real fun stuff...

"Can we go sledding?"

First Brianna wanted to help
Grandpa sweep the driveway,
with her "little" broom.
Then it was time to take to the hill,
in the park across the street.

Gee, I think the snow boarders may
have gotten their first.

Olympic jumping anyone?

Santa and the Grinch

Boy, Santa really gets around!

Wasn't he just at Manor Care?

Now he is holding Brianna.
It's the Grinch!!! But he
can't steal Christmas... at
least Brianna doesn't seem
to think so.

Family visit to Manor Care

Justin and Rachael enjoyed a Christmas
visit to see Keith and Connie.

Brianna's singing Christmas dog, was a
big hit with Grandpa Felix.

Brianna enjoyed "playing" the organ,
as her dog sang.

Great Grandma Felix got to see her
great grand daughter for a little while. "Mom" was in hospice care now.

Christmas at Manor Care Nursing Home

Connie Felix had been in the hospital since October,
and her health was failing.

Patty came to visit a few weeks before Christmas.

Here is Santa who took time to visit "Grandpa Keith, Sr."
at the nursing home.
Keith Sr. got all bundled up for the wagon ride
around the property. The nursing home provided
the wagon pulled by two lovely gray Belgium draft
horses.

It was cold, but fun.

Nancy and Rachael went to a Christmas party at
Laura's house that evening and enjoyed food, friends,
and singing carols.
