Heritage Club Mountain View celebrated their 1 year anniversary at this great new facility, by having an outdoor Jazz concert and light supper buffet. The weather was great, and Keith and Connie, along with Keith and Nancy Felix enjoyed the great entertainment.
Hazel Miller, was the featured singer and we just had to ask her for a picture with Keith and Connie Felix.
For those of you who might not know, Hazel Miller was the singer at Joshua and Jill's wedding reception over 2 years ago. Keith and Connie were unable to attend their wedding, so we had to share this picture with Hazel, mostly for you Josh and Jill. We told them about the common tie, and Hazel was so sweet to be a part of this picture.

So since this was such a good year for "fathers", we all celebrated with Keith and Connie at Heritage Club Mountainview for Father's Day. The kitchen staff, grilled steak and chicken and we were free to eat outside on the lovely patio there.
Keith Senior and Connie really enjoyed the whole family for the day, and a good old fashioned barbeque, just like we used to do back in Indiana.
Yes, this is baby Brianna, she was the star of the day. And growing as you can see. What a cutie and a sweetie pie!!

Yes, this is Paul Felix in his first organized sport this summer. With such an active mom, Laura, as a running coach for moms with kids, we just knew Paul would debut with track.
He loves to run as you can see, and Jason and Laura are so pleased about the program, and especially the great coaches. It is a travel team so some meets were quite a distance away from their home...but we were able to attend a few events.
Laura, says it's the practices that make it such a good learning experience for the kids. Learning to listen and follow instructions and then having fun participating with others of all ages. Thanks Laura, for introducing your son to something new.

Now it's June and time to think about gardening in Colorado. Nancy had some huge roses this year. OOOHHH!!
This was the year for Jason and Laura to finally start a garden at their home. Jason and Nancy prepared soil, then Paul and Meredith helped plant lettuce, cabbage, carrots, radishes, green beans, yummy beef-steak tomatoes, and big-boy tomatoes. Laura really wanted the kids to experience a garden, planting, caring, harvesting. The dream comes true...and the garden has produced well for its first year.
Laura planted more herbs like cilantro, parsely, chives, etc. FUN FUN FUN! Thanks Laura for all your hard work.
